Shop Information

High Jinks is a quality children's clothing shop located in Portumna, Co. Galway, Ireland. It carries a wide range of classy kids clothes from leading brand name it. The business, owned by Mary Hodgins-Moore, stocks clothing for ages 0 – 10 years. In general, all items are in the mid-price range (approximately €15-€30) . The emphasis is on funky, fashionable clothes in an array of colours and styles with attention paid to quality and practicality. A range of accessories is also available e.g. socks, tights, hair clips, bags and belts.  

The staff members at High Jinks, are committed to the provision of the highest possible standard of service to meet the individual needs of all our customers. As parents of young children, we are well aware of the need for friendly efficient customer care, and we are dedicated to the ethos of serving our clients better. 

As we approach the 3^rd anniversary of our opening, we are even more aware, than ever before, of the importance of excellent customer service. We passionately believe that our devotion to this ethos sets us apart from the competition, particularly, during the current climate of tough economic conditions. Of course, our regular and loyal clientele already know this and in return for their loyalty, we offer (from time to time) excellent incentives for them to continue to do business with us.

We would also like to remind customers and potential ones too, that we accept all major credit/debit cards as well as the 'One-For-All' gift vouchers and gift cards from An Post. For the new arrivals in the locality, we would also like to remind customers and the “Mammies” that we keep a list of gifts bought for baby so that he or she does not receive more than one of any outfit, toy etc. Finally, for now, be sure and check out our exciting new hair accessory range, very reasonably priced (all items are between €1.50 and €3.50). These accessories are designed to co-ordinate beautifully with the season’s styles and colours. They are also useful for “token” gifts, birthday presents etc.
